Just Work

I'm actually beginning to hate my job. I still love to work with technology but I find the environment I am working in and applications I'm building not very inspiring anymore. I am not able to relate to my colleagues anymore. They warned me about this before I went to Yugoslavia: the threat that the regular life wouldn't be fulfilling and you wouldn't fit into society anymore. So why would it hit me eleven years later?

It was the open source conference where it really hit me. It was the whole we are changing software, technology and society atmosphere in general, but also the individuals like Jeff Zucker working for the Unicef and this teacher working all over the world. These people do some stuff that really matters.

I too want to do more meaningfull work with the knowledge and skills that I have.
